Encasements are created in close collaboration with the client, containing items that are personal to the client within a metal enclosure, also of a personal design.
They seek to draw attention to and preserve the objects & memories within them, from shells & pebbles collected by someone’s children to neolithic flint tools found in an island field.
The encasements provide a tactile, aural, and/or visual sense of what is contained within.
